Another case of the fandom’s trouble having nuanced conversations. People bounce between extremes of completely vilifying/glorifying him. I’m thankful for the world/characters/stories he gave us, but he was human - his triumphs don’t cancel out his missteps, and vice-versa.

3D printed prototype of a TWR/BRIO compatible Pennsylvania Railroad GG1. The wheels are custom to look like the quill drive wheels of the real thing. I intend to sell these as a 3D printed kit at first, but if enough interest is shown, I may sell polyurethane casts of the body.

The "vehicles only have faces on Sodor" thing was never a rule. Wilbert only made it to explain to kids why trains irl don't have faces.
We've seen a lot of engines off Sodor with faces in books that Wilbert himself wrote
Ima be real guys….. i don’t really have a problem with the Faces only on Sodor due to the magic tunnel thing. The entirety of the original show was Magical since TATMR What’s been described matches up with Awdry’s first explanation on why the engines were alive.
