President @officialABAT has again charged the Nigerian judiciary to ensure swift, fair justice that is blind to a litigant’s status or tribe, insisting that a compromised legal system threatens democratic stability. Instead of widespread citizen frustration with prolonged case backlogs and slow adjudication, he maintained that the administration of justice must be both fair and swift so that the common man can have confidence in the judiciary as his last hope. Speaking on Monday in Abuja when he commissioned the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division building complex, Dakibiyu, the President, who was represented by his deputy, Vice President @KashimSM said the new appellate court building reinforces his Renewed Hope Agenda and his administration’s determination to give the operators of the nation’s justice system a befitting home. “To my Lords Justices, as you move into this complex, Nigeria asks one thing of you: let justice be swift. Let it be fair. Let it be blind to status, tribe, or purse. Let the common man feel that this Court is truly his last hope.”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's four (4) Legacy Highway Projects: - Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway - Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway - Calabar-Abuja Superhighway - Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe Road Corridor Transformative investments collectively touching every geopolitical zone, designed to strengthen connectivity, expand access to markets, advance national integration, and unlock jobs and economic opportunities. Importantly, beyond their economic value, they are vital investments in national unity. There are many other road projects being developed nationwide under the infrastructure program of the Renewed Hope agenda -- with these four as the flagship ones.

It was my pleasure today to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 8th Executive Committee Meeting of the Northern Traditional Rulers' Council (NTRC) in Dutse, Jigawa State, under the leadership of the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar. I conveyed the President’s message of goodwill and solidarity to the distinguished gathering. The President and the entire administration fully recognise the strategic role of traditional institutions, and remain committed to deepening engagement with traditional rulers across the country to advance peace, security, national cohesion, and development. Across generations, our traditional rulers have served as custodians of culture and values, mediators in times of conflict, and trusted bridges between government and the people. Their proximity to the grassroots, and moral authority, make them indispensable partners in governance, peacebuilding, and community mobilisation. I shared the progress that we are making in strengthening coordination among the Armed Forces, intelligence agencies, and other security institutions, which has led to significant gains against criminal and terrorist groups across various parts of the country. I made it clear that we recognise that lasting peace cannot be achieved through security operations alone. All tiers of government must work very closely together to address poverty, unemployment, social exclusion, and the lack of economic opportunities that often fuel insecurity. Across the economy, President Tinubu's reforms are visible and yielding results: agriculture, livestock development, solid minerals, infrastructure, education financing, consumer credit, support for small businesses, and much more.

The Federal Government is set to roll out 10,000 electric tricycles for use as part of a broad plan to ease public transportation across Nigeria. The tricycles will be distributed by the North East Development Commission (@NEDCOfficialNg) in August 2026 for use across the North-East region and beyond. The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, who disclosed this during a courtesy call by The Transporters For Tinubu/Shettima 2027, said the President @officialABAT, “has approved the replication of the initiative in other parts of the country by the various regional development commissions.” He noted that the priority of the administration of President @officialABAT is to move Nigeria from a fragmented transport system to an integrated logistics chain where ports, rail lines, CNG-powered trucks, inland waterways, airports and local feeder roads work together to support commerce, agriculture, industry and national integration. Senator @KashimSM explained that the Federal Government’s transport reform agenda is anchored on the nationwide rollout of Compressed Natural Gas, major port upgrades and a stronger logistics chain.

“Ordinarily an average Nigerian is a silent devil waiting to be awaken by power and greed” In my conversation with a friend, she sent me the above and I can’t help but share. I wholeheartedly agree with this. Our conversation was based on the insecurity going on in the country by the way.

President @officialABAT has praised the former Head of State for continuing “to serve as a respected elder statesman, promoting peace, national unity, democratic stability, and responsible political engagement” through the National Peace Committee. He also directed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), @GovWike, to allocate a befitting parcel of land within the nation’s capital to build an office for the Abdulsalami Abubakar African Resource Centre (AAARC). The President stated this on Saturday in Abuja during the public presentation of three books, ‘A Call of Duty: My Autobiography’, ‘Nigeria’s Grand Patriot’, and ‘Mediating for Peace in Africa’, in honour of General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd). Eulogising the former Nigerian leader at the book launch, which coincided with his 84th birthday anniversary, President @officialABAT, who was represented by his deputy, Vice President @KashimSM, described the presence of dignitaries from both home and abroad at the event as a fitting tribute to General Abubakar’s life. He justified why the AAARC deserves a befitting office in Abuja, saying, “The establishment of the Abdulsalami Abubakar African Resource Centre is a worthy initiative that aligns with the values General Abubakar has championed throughout his life. “In recognition of its importance, I hereby direct the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory to allocate a suitable parcel of land within the Federal Capital Territory for the development of the Centre and the advancement of its mission,” he directed.

Earlier today, I joined Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and other dignitaries at the National Mosque, Abuja, for the funeral prayer of Hajiya Fatima Ladi Binta Musa Musawa, mother of the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa. Her passing is a painful loss to the Musawa family and all who knew her. We take solace in the legacy of faith, dignity, compassion, and service she leaves behind. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Hannatu, the entire Musawa family, and all loved ones mourning this loss. May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, and grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, ameen.

It’s like a man willing to fall of a cliff to hold on to a sweet, if the man release the sweet, he will be spared but he will rather fall of that cliff. Probably going to even get more than a sweet if you let that sweet go, but that’s the sad reality in our society today. The insecurity isn’t existing on its own, it’s people in our society benefiting from it, and those people will rather the insecurity persist and continue to consume all of us than allow succor to come. We are almost at the point of no return but it’s like a habit now.

It has gotten to a point where you keep wondering why are certain people not allowing capable hands to be in position to make some sort of positive impact, and you can never understand why, because even greed doesn’t explain the situation. You mean you are willing to perish no matter what you benefit than to allow a better society?

Even I sometimes forget that insecurity is one of the biggest reasons I joined active politics, losing my cousin in Maiduguri was the point I decided that outrage or criticism alone cannot solve the problem, it’s been a hell of a ride and I still believe that the only way we can make a difference is a lot of people that mean well getting involved because we can continue to cry from now till eternity, if you don’t have more people that mean well than those that don’t in the system then we will continue to complain about the same thing.

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM has said Nigerians have a lot to learn from the life and times of the late Emir of Ngazargamu in Yobe State, HRH Tijjani Ahmed Ibn-Saleh. He paid glowing tribute to the paramount monarch, who passed away in Cairo, Egypt, after a prolonged illness, noting that citizens, especially the youth, must embrace and continue to seek more education, as he preached. Speaking with journalists in Damaturu, Yobe State, shortly after the burial of the monarch, the Vice President said the late Emir “was a symbol of unity, peace and progress,” even as he urged Nigerians to sustain the unity that exists among them for the progress of the nation. “He led a good life; he was an advocate of education as a tool for social enhancement. He lived well and died honourably. May Allah grant his soul eternal rest,” he stated. Senator @KashimSM also prayed for divine consolation for the family of the deceased and for the repose of his soul.

Today, we mark 27 years of unbroken democratic governance in Nigeria in Nigeria's 4th Republic. A milestone that speaks to the resilience of our people and our enduring belief in government of the people, by the people and for the people. Our democratic journey has not been without its challenges, but each passing year has strengthened our institutions and deepened the voice of the ordinary Nigerian. Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, we are building a nation where hope is constantly renewed, and, very importantly, matched by action. I salute every Nigerian who continues to make this democracy work. The journey continues, and our best days lie ahead. Happy #DemocracyDay, Nigeria. 🇳🇬

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM has said President @officialABAT’s programmes and policies are mostly in favour of Nigerian youths because he summons modern ideas to solve the problems of the 21st century. According to him, the @officialABAT administration will continue to support Nigerian youths, based on his conviction that they are the lifeblood and driving force of the nation, just as he said young people are viewed by the administration as the harbingers of progress essential for future development and reform. President @officialABAT has said his administration will not rest until the dividends of democracy are equitably distributed across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), its satellite towns, and the entire country. He promised balanced infrastructural and socio-economic development across both the city centre and the suburbs of the nation’s capital, assuring that the FCT must grow as one body, with every district and every community feeling the pulse of national renewal. Speaking on Thursday in Abuja during the commissioning of the Kuje-Airport Expressway, the President, who was represented by his deputy, Vice President @KashimSM highlighted the significance of the nation’s airport corridor, noting that beyond being just a passage, it is the handshake of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Nigerian leader maintained that his administration will continue to pursue the kind of “roads, brighter streets, safer corridors, cleaner surroundings, improved drainage, and modern facilities that befit the capital of Africa’s largest democracy.”

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM has applauded the partnership between the Kukah Centre (@KukahCentre), and the ProFuturo Foundation (@ProFuturo_) in support of quality digital education, especially in vulnerable communities across the country. He said the foundation’s initiative for digital education aligns with the nation’s quest for skills education through the National Council on Skills and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration of President @officialABAT. Senator @KashimSM stated this on Wednesday when he received on a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa a delegation from the Kukah Centre and the ProFuturo Foundation led by Bishop Matthew Kukah.
