We're excited to share Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK)'s bold new advertising campaign “This Is What We Do.” From a jazz musician whose life was saved by precision oncology, to a prostate cancer patient who has become an advocate for early detection, the stories we share throughout this campaign reflect our shared mission and the extraordinary outcomes we achieve together. 🔹 This is treatment on a cellular level. 🔹 This is care on a personal level. 🔹 This is hope on another level. When someone receives a cancer diagnosis, we want them to know exactly what to do next: come to MSK. And when patients choose MSK, they’re choosing better, longer lives. Learn more: bit.ly/3SgwqKj

For years, patients with triple negative #breastcancer (#TNBC) have had limited treatment options beyond chemotherapy. Now, based on results from the MSK-led TROPION-Breast02 trial, Dato-DXd was FDA approved in May 2026 as first-line therapy for adults with advanced HER2 negative breast cancer who have already received endocrine-based therapy and chemotherapy, making it the first TROP2-directed ADC to gain FDA approval as first-line in this patient population. “Dato-DXd significantly improved overall survival for this challenging subtype of breast cancer, where historic median overall survival has been about 12 months,” said Dr. Tiffany Traina, lead and senior author of the study and MSK breast medical oncologist. #MRFResearchWednesday – we are honored to highlight Sarah Kim of @MSKCancerCenter, recipient of an MRF Medical Student Award, with funding support provided in Memory of Peter Looney and the Looney Legacy Foundation. Sarah’s work titled, “Benign Dermoscopic Morphology by Skin Tone and Anatomic Site”, will create a diverse image database of benign skin lesions across all skin tones to improve diagnosis, reduce unnecessary biopsies and help ensure future AI tools work effectively for everyone. Of her work, Sarah offers, “This research aims to build a diverse image database of benign skin lesions seen through dermoscopy, helping dermatologists better recognize these common skin findings across different skin tones and body sites. By improving our understanding of what benign lesions look like in diverse patients, we hope to support more accurate melanoma detection, reduce unnecessary biopsies, and help ensure that patients of all skin tones receive thoughtful, equitable skin cancer care." In a randomized, international phase 3 trial, @EileenMOReilly et al. at @MSKCancerCenter and Dana Farber Institute gave previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer patients either chemotherapy or the experimental oral medication daraxonrasib. Treatment with daraxonrasib led to significantly longer overall survival and progression-free survival than chemo, per @NEJM study: ow.ly/Nyom50Z6o4K

A landmark moment for pancreatic cancer, these findings highlight what transformative progress can look like. Congratulations to @EileenMOReilly & team @MSKCancerCenter advancing this research driving forward a new standard of care in a disease that has long needed breakthroughs
⚠️ New findings presented in the plenary session at #ASCO26 suggest daraxonrasib could help usher in a new era of treatment for metastatic pancreatic cancer. In a phase 3 study led by @EileenMOReilly and colleagues, patients receiving #daraxonrasib lived a median of 13.2 months compared with 6.7 months for those treated with chemotherapy. "To date in my career, I have not seen this level of benefit from any single anti-cancer drug in this disease." Learn more: bit.ly/435pwKo
