Tony Stella is the modern benchmark of movie poster and cover art, and by far my favourite. I can't believe the news today. He created some of the most beautiful, colourful, and striking pieces of film art that I've ever seen.

Disclosure Day opens with $44m domestic and $92m worldwide, quite a bit over the $65M Variety projected. The #1 movie around the world.
With #DisclosureDay, Steven Spielberg aims to prove he's still the king of the summer box office. The film carries a $115 million budget and is projected to open with $35 million at the domestic box office. Sources believe the movie will need to earn $300 million globally to be profitable. variety.com/2026/film/news/d…

I would really love to see them reuinte on the western Spielberg's making next. But what I want more than anything is for him to go out with a self financed, whatever fucked up ballsy horror movie that he wants to make
Nothing better than a summer Spielberg movie night in a packed theater with friends! Steven thank you for all of the hours of joy that you have given us in the cinema!! It has been a great honor and pleasure to have worked with you and to call you my friend. Congratulations to my dear friend Emily and the entire group of artists that created this movie. You were superb. We all loved Disclosure Day!!

I'm halfway through S6 of Baywatch. It's the biggest watching addiction I've had in years. I'm actually trying to squeeze films in around it 😅 the most wildly changing show I've watched, every season is tonally different. I'm deep into the soap opera era now and it's still great
Advert came up last week. About 3 minutes long, for the original Baywatch series because it's been remastered. I thought, ya know, fuck it, I'm going to give it a go. We'll. I'm 7 eps through, and honestly, it is actually fucking AWESOME!! was not expecting that 😅

I'm curious how Awards season will pan out. Surely #MichaelMovie    would be up there for Popular movie. A few technical noms possibly too. Having Jaafar perform at the Oscars would likely guarantee a viewing boost. Could re-release the film as extended/sing along version
‘MICHAEL’ has surpassed $900 million at the global box office.

So we're back to a $35M opening? Last week it was apparently closing in on $50m. This is disappointing, even though it's decent for an original sci-fi. But, excluding Ready Player One, this will be Spielberg's biggest opening weekend since Crystal Skull in 2008.

I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere, but the #MichaelMovie is now the 3rd highest grossing film by a black director, behind Black Panther ($1.350b) and The Fate of the Furious ($1.236b). It will mark the third time a black director has crossed the billion $ mark

For me, this is the greatest rain scene in all of cinema I downloaded this as a 2 part 700mb cam copy in 2002 using a 56k Internet connection. It took weeks. I was 15 and it was life changing. I would love this to have a 4K release.

Obsession had the highest grossing 4th weekend for a horror movie EVER.
Replying to @ScottMendelson
(#boxoffice milestones of note...”) -- Obsession had the 24th biggest 4th weekend ever, & the 8th biggest for any un”der-$100M opener. Of those, only Phantom Menace & Michael weren’t Christmas titles. -- The Devil Wears Prada 2 is now ($664M) the top-grossing ”just a comedy." 3/3

And if we include Blair Witch they'll need to make $330m. The absolute benchmark of low budget horror/gross.
Backrooms and Obsession will need to make 220 million to sell as many tickets as Saw 1 sold.

The greatest superhero casting there's ever been and likely to be. Spider-Noir is incredible and Nicolas Cage is fucking perfect. Do you know how refreshing it is not to have childish banter in every scene. The best TV of 2026.

I also watched this yesterday, & whilst it has flaws, it is a very sweet and charming little movie, that at 1hr long doesnt overstay. I could actually watch a whole bunch of these stories about Jeff taking a night flight, and the people he encounters #Propeller #OneWayNightCoach
