For some perspective, as the fire and smoke obscure the visibility, the satellite map indicates how many houses are in the Kalamoir Park area. This is why tactical evacuations are currently underway in these parts of West Kelowna.

That's the requirement in Gaza, too, as I detail in this. Using the violent act for propaganda purposes is more important than the violence itself.
Meanwhile in Canada, Islamic extremists are grooming and radicalizing youths into shooting up synagogues and consulates. “To receive payment, the shooters are reportedly required to film their crimes.”

Surprise: it turns out the U.N. humanitarian grandee who announced “14,000 babies are going to die in 48 hours” has a soft spot for genocidal terrorist organization Hezbollah.
Exposed: U.N. Humanitarian Chief “Welcomed” Hezbollah “While I understand the anxiety some feel, I have always said that it is welcome that Hezbollah are becoming more involved in state politics in Lebanon.” — Tom Fletcher, from his 2016 book “The Naked Diplomat,” at page 179

Never seen anything like this. The Liberals are ramming through Bill C-22 and ignoring legitimate voices. Shameful. We will fight this abuse of process every step of the way.

By Iran and its proxies. Many of us have been sounding this alarm bell since 2023, let’s hope now that law enforcement acknowledges it our political leadership will too. @GadSaad actually calls this willfully blind spot “suicidal empathy”

No law can undo what happened to Bailey McCourt. But today, her name became a promise to protect others. Bailey’s Law is, today, the law of the land. Thank you to its sponsors MP @FrankCaputoKTN & Senator Manning, to colleagues in both Chambers - but most of all, to Bailey’s extraordinary family, who never stopped fighting to honour her memory and secure justice for victims of intimate partner violence in her name.

The Conservative team at Health Committee will not be silenced by the Liberal manufactured majority. Although the Liberals are desperately trying to COVER-UP the $300 Million PrescribeIT scandal, Conservatives will use every tool available to us to get answers for Canadians.
We are about to walk into the health committee where the cameras will be off and Conservative MPs will be silenced from speaking publicly about the failed $300 MILLION PrescribeIT program. Nothing says transparency like hiding the meeting from Canadians.

Conservatives have a plan to scrap the GST on used cars to deliver relief for Canadians. Yesterday, cabinet secretary Wayne Long completely ignored both my question and our proposal. He actually said Conservatives need to put proposals forward. We did. He called my question "rhetoric". Tell me, Wayne, how is our proposal to remove taxes from vehicles simply rhetoric? This guy, and this government, are insulting to Canadians.

Delta families and commuters have every right to be fed up. After more than four hundred and fifty million dollars of taxpayers’ money have already been spent, along with years of delay, the NDP government has terminated the Massey Tunnel replacement contract. Yet they claim that restarting the work through multiple separate contracts will neither cost more nor take any longer. This defies common sense. This is the same NDP that routinely sends major contracts overseas, including a billion-dollar BC Ferries deal, rather than supporting the skilled local workers and businesses here in British Columbia. Hard-working families deserve far better stewardship of their tax dollars. I fully support Delta Councillor Dylan Kruger’s call for a full independent investigation into this spending and these repeated delays. Transparency and accountability must be restored. British Columbians deserve a government that delivers critical infrastructure efficiently, on time, and on budget while respecting every dollar and creating good local jobs. When we form the next government, that is exactly what we will do. Together, we will end the waste, restore competence, and build the safe, prosperous British Columbia our families and communities need.

Trust in science is not restored by treating every paper as equally credible. A scientific paper is not a sacred text. It is a claim. Claims are accepted, challenged, corrected, and sometimes retracted when the evidence doesn’t hold up. The mistake many people make is assuming that removing a flawed paper is censorship. It isn’t. If a bridge engineer discovers a calculation error, we don’t demand the bridge remain standing in the name of transparency. We fix the error. Science works the same way. Transparency matters. Journals should explain why papers are corrected or retracted. But transparency does not mean every claim deserves permanent legitimacy. The real threat to public trust isn’t that flawed papers get removed. It’s the growing belief that scientific rigor is optional as long as a conclusion is politically useful. Science advances by correcting mistakes. Not by preserving them.
