10% of all workers in Maryland are federal public servants, and I’m glad that @GovWesMoore understands the gravity of this politically manufactured mess. Visit response.maryland.gov/federa… to see what resources are available if you're impacted.

🚨 What’s moving in Maryland right now? 🏠 Protecting homeowners (HB130) 🏢 Safer buildings (HB553) ⚖️ Stronger juvenile oversight (HB776) 🏗️ More workforce housing (HB1279) These bills shape our communities. Pay attention. 🔍 mgaleg.maryland.gov #MDGA2026 #StayEngaged

In trying times, I turn to prayer. I ask for courage to serve with honesty, clarity to do what is right, and grace to disagree without losing respect. I pray for wisdom in this work and lift up Marylanders across every county. With so much noise around us, integrity must lead.

Across Maryland, rising energy costs are straining households. Bills of $800–$1,000 are not sustainable for families. That’s why we passed the Next Generation Energy Act and are advancing HB1 to stop ratepayers from subsidizing lobbying and bonuses.

Leadership takes courage not comfort. As @attorneycrump shared Dr. King: what’s right isn’t always popular, correct, or safe. That’s how I lead. Baltimore deserves principle, compassion, and accountability. Honored to learn from mentors Ben Crump & Billy Murphy.

A thriving Baltimore starts with strong neighborhoods and strong local businesses. At Pimlico, I fought to make sure redevelopment included real community benefits. As senator, I’ll keep building business districts that work for Baltimore, by Baltimore.

For people of the past, present, and future, the legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. will truly live as long as time itself. Dr. King’s conquest for multiracial suffrage is what made him a paragon for the leaders that he preceded. /1 #martinlutherkingday #MLKDay

It was leaders like MLK that inspired me to pursue a career of public service & give back to the community that raised me as I am today. Today is a day not just to reflect on our past, but to envision our future. /2

This campaign will remain focused on that very practice and I’m committed to doing everything I can to be the voice that District 41 needs. /3

It’s the first day of the legislative session! It was a jampacked day in Annapolis, and it only gets busier from here for the next 90 business days. #mdga26 #mdpolitics

I can’t wait to work with colleagues, local leaders, nonprofits, labor, and residents from every corner of the state to ensure our capital dollars are spent fairly, transparently, and equitably, especially in communities that have waited far too long to be prioritized. /5

Baltimore will be ending the year with the lowest number of homicides in DECADES. We know that this work isn't finished yet. We have a long way to go. But this is real progress.
Analysis: Baltimore homicides declined furthest, fastest in the country as killings could reach a 48-year low buff.ly/uCm8Ak9
