Jim Carrey on Awakening & the Illusion of Thought 🧠✨ In this powerful clip, Jim Carrey shares his sudden realisation: thoughts are illusory, and our identification with them is the root of most suffering. He describes stepping back and witnessing thoughts from a higher perspective, leading to profound freedom — feeling bigger than his body, problems, or ego… essentially one with everything. This mirrors core teachings in Buddhism and Vedanta: the mind creates suffering when we cling to it. Health & Longevity angle: Especially relevant for us — identifying with past trauma (ruminating) or future fears (anticipating) spikes the stress response, raising cortisol, blood pressure, and disrupting deep sleep. Observing thoughts without attachment calms the nervous system, lowers cortisol, and supports better recovery and vitality. For advanced meditators, this practice deepens into ego dissolution in profound states — pure presence and inner alchemy. Worth watching (under 2 min) and reflecting on. Simple daily practice: When a thought arises, ask “Who is aware of this?” and return to the witness. Game-changer for both enlightenment seekers and those optimising metabolic & cardiovascular health. What are your experiences with thought observation? 🙏

The inept ANC government created a problem through its incompetence and corruption - an inability to enforce most laws. It led to the collapse f infrastructure. It also led to the influx of foreign nationals. Many foreigners have captured the "township economy" the informal sector that the local citizens lacked the business skills to develop. But these foreigners have become the scapegoat for ANC incompetence - redirecting the anger of the marginalised away from their own shortcomings. Yet, across African countries, the South African-owned Shoprite Group owns 3655 stores (including franchises) in 10 African countries. The South African owned Pick and Pay Group owns 2200 stores in 7 African countries. The South African owned Woolworths Group and the Spar Group owns hundreds of stores in African Countries. Taken together, South African-owned retail stores collectively own a larger proportion of the retail economy in these countries than foreign nationals own of the South African "Township Economy". Politicians in South Africa are using Xenophobia to distract unemployed South Africans away from their own mismanagement of the once-thriving economy.

Alan Watts: “First you suffer, then you awaken. And only then do you begin to ascend. Strange, isn’t it? That pain is not a punishment, but a summons. A knock on the inner door that says ‘wake up.’ Not to the world, but to yourself. You see, suffering shakes the foundation of who you think you are, so that you may discover who you truly are. And when that veil lifts, something extraordinary happens. You stop identifying with the wound and begin identifying with the witness. This is awakening. From here, ascension isn’t about floating off into the clouds. It’s about returning fully to the present — unburdened by the past, undistracted by illusion, unmoved by the ego’s hunger for control. You begin to live as the soul, not the story. And you realize the pain didn’t break you — it built the staircase. And now… you’re rising.”

Some extremely profound words of wisdom from Alan Watts. "One day you'll realize you've already lived through some of the best days of your life and you didn't even know it at the time." "You were too busy chasing what's next, busy worrying about what's missing. Thinking happiness was something you'd arrive at one day." "But while you were waiting you were laughing with people who won't always be around. You were making memories in places you'll one day drive past and feel something you can't explain. You were standing in moments that didn't feel like the good old days until they were gone." "So stop waiting for life to start. You're already living it."

Communism was created by capitalists. Marx: funded by Engels' father an industrialist. The Bolsheviks: funded by Wall Street. Why? Two things blocked transnational capital: Kings — who defended national sovereignty. Religion — which opposed money as God. Communism destroyed both. No God. No king. No country. Just capital. Moving freely. Everywhere. Capitalism vs communism was never real. It was the greatest magic trick in modern history.

The CSIR is a signatory to the Nuremberg Code. Yet they keep silent during the pandemic, when both the Code and the constitution were violated in terms of bodily autonomy. By their actions, the CSIR demonstrated that they are an organisation captured by sponsorship from Bill Gates like so many academics and SA institutions such as SAHPRA, Wits Health Consortium and CAPRISA - to name a few.

Israel is often described as "at the forefront" in industry reports — especially for lab grown structured products like steaks and beef. It is most likely Bill Gates's regular sponsorship of South African scientists, together with Zionist expansionist mindset of poisoning everyone with fake food and pharmaceuticals that we can even have such "innovation" from the CSIR in South Africa. It is certainly not for me.
South Africa’s CSIR Creates Lab-Grown Meat 🇿🇦 The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is working on lab-grown meat — real meat made in a lab without killing animals. Scientists grow meat from animal cells. It looks and tastes like normal meat. This can reduce farming costs, save water, and lower food prices over time. South Africa is not behind. We are building the future.

South Africa must reject artificial food
🇿🇦 South Africa just made history. The CSIR has cracked the code on producing the critical molecules needed for lab-grown meat — CSIR has scaled up production We no longer need to import expensive starter chemicals from the US or Europe. SA is now one of the few countries on Earth that can grow its own protein. 🥩🔬 Why Is It a Big Deal? ● It eliminates the need for large-scale animal slaughter. ● It uses significantly less land and water than traditional cattle farming. Would you eat lab-grown Meat?

Abbas Araghchi: “Why We Insist on Uranium Enrichment” “Why have we insisted, and continue to insist, on uranium enrichment? Why won’t we surrender it, even under the threat of war? Because no one has the right to dictate what we may or may not possess. This is rooted in a fundamental principle: the rejection of domination. Enrichment is our right under international law, and whether we choose to exercise it is our business alone. For years we’ve been told, ‘You have no right to enrich; enrichment must be zero.’ Why? ‘Because we’re concerned,’ they say. If you’re concerned, we’re prepared to address that. Have questions? We’ll answer them. Is trust lacking? We’ll build it. But no one has the right to say, ‘You cannot have this because we don’t want you to.’ This is the heart of our resolve: we have stood firm in defense of our own rights. Enrichment matters, but what matters even more is demonstrating that the Islamic Republic of Iran takes orders from no one and submits to no domination. If there are doubts about the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program, we are ready to answer them. The only path forward is diplomacy. Every other path has been tried and has led nowhere. Negotiations will only succeed when the rights of the Iranian people are recognized and respected, not granted, because our rights are already legitimate in and of themselves. What we ask is simply that they be respected.” In my view, Araghchi’s statement is more than a dignified reply to the United States. It is a rebuke of the condescending posture the West has held toward Muslims for nearly a century. It is a declaration that the era of bullying and imposed values is over. If Iran emerges from this with its honor intact, God willing, neither the United States nor the Muslim world will be what they once were.

South African black men are on average, shorter as a result of malnutrition and stunting. Research indicates that South African children and adults face significant height deficits compared to international standards, largely driven by malnutrition and stunting. Key Findings: Height Deficit: Research on a longitudinal cohort in Soweto-Johannesburg showed that white children were consistently taller than black children, with the mean height difference increasing from 3.7 cm at 1 year to 7.9 cm at 19 years in males. Stunting Rates: Over 27% of children under the age of five in South Africa are stunted—meaning they are too short for their age due to chronic malnutrition. Drivers of Malnutrition: Despite South Africa being a middle-income country, high unemployment and the unaffordability of nutritious food lead to high rates of malnutrition. Double Burden: Many children suffer from a "double burden" of malnutrition, being stunted (too short) yet also overweight, as they often consume cheap, high-energy processed foods that lack essential nutrients. Long-Term Impact: Stunting is often irreversible, causing permanent physical and intellectual underdevelopment, resulting in lower adult height and increased risk of diseases like diabetes. The studies highlight that chronic, early-life malnutrition prevents children from reaching their full growth potential, contributing to the observed shorter average heights in adult populations.
