Stunning results all round — not entirely unexpected for those reading the tea leaves, and listening to people, not politicians.
When I visited Chennai in March for the TNIE conclave, it was already evident that Vijaya was emerging as the pied piper. A quick tour in and around the city made it clear — young people, from students to professionals, were eager to volunteer their choice and their intention to vote for V.
