#duodenalatresia is a rare condition where babies are born with a blockage in the upper bowel. They need surgery in early life. If you are a parent of a baby born with DA and interested in helping us develop our research program @SotonChildHosp to improve outcomes, please DM me.
Great day at the FEED1 Investigators’ meeting today! Lots of discussions, talks and ideas shared! Thank you so much to all those who attended in person and Online🙂
There has been some truly excellent research presented at #EAPS2022 but one of the highlights for me has been the results of the MILK trial, presented by @TarahColaizy. This trial compared donor milk with bovine fortifier with preterm formula in extremely preterm babies
As part of my project, I have requested custom Office for National Statistics data on preterm births 2007-2018 in England and Wales.
ONS have made this data open access, this is previously unavailable data, please feel free to use this in your research!
