The math is simple: 6.8% is significantly less than 17.3%. The Ford government is critically underfunding education across this province and our kids are paying the price. #onpoli #OntEd

NEW: Premier Doug Ford’s government has spent more taxpayer money subsidizing hydro rates (about $6 billion/yr) than it has spent on long-term care. With the budget coming Thursday, here’s a look at why. #onpoli cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/o…

I hope David Miller comes crashing into the Toronto Mayor’s race like the Kool-Aid man. He was the last good Mayor the city had, and his 🧹 could sure be put to good use.

QUESTION: Why is there almost NO news on the HUGE scandal involving developer $$ in the #Greenbelt and cash to Cons and cash to daughter of Doug Ford by CP24 and Bell media?

BREAKING: So @fordnation received almost $600,000 in donations from developers. In return did they get the #Greenbelt? Think it's time for the OPP to open a file. Agree?

If a government purposely held back public money in order to fund private initiatives - which Ontario did - then no amount of "well, actually" obfuscation from the usuals will change the fact that Doug Ford had his eyes on privatization from the start, and he's succeeding.

Nearly every hospital in Ontario close the majority of their ORs after 4 pm and on weekends. Why do we need IHFs and private hospitals to perform day surgeries (no overnight stay) which can draw staff from public hospitals? Capacity in the public system exists.
NEW: Private delivery of public healthcare in Ontario increased during the pandemic. Over the past two years the Ford gov’t set aside public funding for 2 private hospitals and 17 independent health facilities to address the surgical backlog. globalnews.ca/news/9329915/o… #onpoli

Not true @TorontosMayor I canvassed with @progresstoronto in Ward 19. Everyone I spoke with signed a petition against it. Everyone! I've petitioned a lot in the past & never had this response rate. They know about this law and your role- and they know it is wrong. @BradMBradford

It’s wild that Doug Ford is now asking the federal government to give the provinces even more healthcare dollars with absolutely no strings attached...when he literally underspent on public healthcare in Ontario by $900 million during a healthcare crisis.
