Which is hard

No one is attacking you because "after all those years I'm still a Jew". It's because you are supporting a state committing a genocide which was founded on genocide. This was my experience when I visited Israel in 2001. And if you question British support for Israel and British Jewish support for genocide (and there are so many brave exceptions), you are accused of being antisemitic. No matter that there's Jewish blood in my family!

Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

23 years ago today, American peace activist Rachel Corrie was killed in Rafah, Gaza while trying to stop the demolition of Palestinian homes. She was brutally run over by an Israeli militarized bulldozer. She was 23. “I wonder if any of the children here have ever existed without the tank-shells and the demolition.” Rachel Corrie said. Today, much of the city she died to defend has been reduced to rubble. RIP Rachel, may your memory inspire each of us to nurture the courage to stand in defense of others.
