Young dude fashion is wild right now. Mix of late-80s and late-90s. One dude's got a Dale Earnhardt mustache and a Marty Janetty mullet, his buddy looks like Fred Durst.

If only there was a profession that entailed explaining complicated things to people. These explanations could be collected and then made public periodically, or perhaps immediately on the internet.......
The deliberate inability of people to understand — on the day of SpaceX’s IPO no less — that Musk doesn’t actually have $1 trillion in cash to be grabbed by the revenuers and redistributors is kind of amazing.

What counts as "news" is an editorial and commercial decision. CNN's audience wants to hear bad things about Trump and the GOP, so that's what leads at CNN.
PATHETIC: The first segment on CNN NewsNight tonight was not about Iran, it was not about the US military eliminating Tren de Aragua narco terrorists, but it was instead a segment about a judge ordering Trump’s name to be removed tonight from the Kennedy Center. Talk about misplaced priorities / misaligned news judgement.

Oh yes, I remember that Bond film where the villain decarbonized the auto industry, brought fast internet to everyone on the planet, and helped paralyzed people interact with the world again.

Musk made self-driving electric cars and affordable satellite internet and reusable space rockets that can land themselves so yeah, he obviously sucks. Imagine being this miserable.
Jimmy Kimmel warned against "obscenely wealthy weirdo" Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire. Watch: rollingstone.com/tv-movies/t…

Journalism.
It really is as simple as this for the vast majority of voters. When you say “Nazi tattoo” normal people think swastika. Then people find out it’s this and the Republicans look silly.

Drove through L.A. yesterday. The amount of dry grass and brush around is unreal. Why can't the city hire some landscapers to mow/trim it? Do they WANT more homes to burn?
California's political leaders have failed to clear the brush in the public land bordering Los Angeles. Fire expert Gabriel Mann explains how the state's policies are making another massive wildfire inevitable. "It's ready to burn."

Looks good. What kind of weirdo gets mad about this?
The new Reflecting Pool. All finished.

It's literally a Ponzi scheme, so it's technically always been "insolvent."

Don't be shamed by people like this. They all loudly touted the Russian Collusion conspiracy theory and used it for years to do exactly what they're accusing California's critics of doing now. Undermining election integrity is fine when they don't like the results.....
This is grotesquely irresponsible. Why do Republicans think a scandal-ridden reality-TV star was going to perform well in one of the bluest districts in the nation in a likely blue year? They liked his AI videos? I hate the way California counts ballots, but claims of fraud requires evidence of fraud, not outcomes you don't like.

A truly insane state of affairs. The guy in the Viking helmet riding his bicycle through downtown LA and screaming at me two weeks ago can vote? I know it's legal and not *technically* cheating but FFS.....

Just an absolutely hilarious turn of events. Dems went looking for "their own Trump" and found a dude with a Nazi tattoo and a history of domestic abuse.
#MaineSenate TPSI: “Shockingly, when voters are informed of sexual assault rumors, Platner improves, leading by 8.1%” “This confirms suspicions that Democrats may be looking for their own Trump. Even more surprisingly, 75% of voter age 18-29 support Platner after being informed of the rumors.”

A woman with absolutely zero following, no groundswell of support, and no name ID absolutely killed it in mail-in voting in Los Angeles. It's just the way this state counts ballots, guys!! Free PSA: If you don't want us to assume cheating, maybe make it a little less obvious.

Depressing. Los Angeles deserves better even if it doesn't want it.

The answer to Pelley's question is: Yes! Lots of it, in fact. And that's exactly why @bariweiss was hired at CBS. Her detractors aren't concerned about "Trump", they just fear a media ecosystem where they can't succeed by appealing to a narrow audience of urban liberals.
Scott Pelley says Bari Weiss asked 60 Minutes staffers: “Why do you think the country thinks you’re biased?" Pelley: "Why do you think so? Do you have a poll? Is there market research? What are you talking about?" "Because we certainly didn't believe that." Incredible.

Base-mobilization elections are bad for democracy in general. Expanded absentee and early voting *sounds* good but in reality it's used by people who are already the *most likely* to vote and just encourages politicians to engage in suboptimal campaign behaviors.
The math here defies reasonable logic. I see no reasonable way the 3rd place candidate suddenly starts beating #1 and #2 4 days after the election. This is third world country stuff we’re watching.

So instead of working the entire election cycle to convince voters to vote for them, a candidate instead appeals only to their most loyal supporters and works to bank early votes through an organized effort les by their most committed activist supporters.
