I created a silly 3 minute animated comedy short about an Alien trying Lemons for the first time, breakdown here: youtu.be/WiOtj7g39sE Made mostly with SeaDance 2.0, Pollo AI, Codex, GPT Image 2, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, and way too much timeline stitching.

Fable’s stated risk is jailbreaking it into revealing information it already knows, which are existing cyber vulnerabilities. No chance that a jailbreak could transform Fable from a passive model into an agent that’s suddenly willing and able to conduct active cyber operations or autonomous research.

Let’s say Fable never released and instead Open AI released 5.6 with the same capabilities as Fable. Does it get yoinked by the US Government?

People were extremely upset about Fable 5 releasing with steep bio and cybersecurity guard rails. Now we have the US gov reaching its paws in and turning off the lights because it got a bad whiff? They act like omnipotent minds “we’re saving you” what we should just TRUST you?

Suspending Fable for all “foreign person inside the US” is wild. How can you even enforce this properly?

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

One open model. 350,000 motion clips. 15,000 FPS. MotionBricks from NVIDIA Research runs real-time character animation at scale, without hand-crafted transitions or fine-tuning. And yes, it works for robotics too. #SIGGRAPH2026 paper, demos code: nvlabs.github.io/motionbrick…

One week ago, we released Ideogram 4.0, our first open weight model. Since the launch, the open-source and creative communities have pushed it beyond what we could imagine. Seems like JSON and bounding box prompting is becoming the new norm now. Week one community highlights (thread):

Just used claude fable (aka mythos) to create this city block simulator complete with multi-agent traffic, live detection boxes tracks, and day to night cycle. And it just one shotted it. This is gonna be fun -- the gap between idea and execution just keeps collapsing.

Fable 5 absolutely embarrassed GPT-5.5 in this After Effects test. I gave them each identical prompts to create a face rig from scratch using shape layers and animate it. Claude's visual intelligence is really on display here. Not only did it perfectly position every layer, it was able to convey emotion just by driving the sliders. Oh and did it in a quarter of the time, using far fewer tokens.
