This game is another reason why I’ll never rate David Raya over Joan Garcia. Raya rarely gets exposed the way Joan Garcia does. At Barcelona, Joan has to deal with at least 1 or 2 dangerous one on one situations almost every single game because of the high line and risky structure, yet he constantly comes out on top and produces massive saves. Raya plays in a team built around defensive solidity. Arsenal protect their goalkeeper extremely well and rarely allow situations where Raya is truly exposed. For me, Joan Garcia has been the best goalkeeper this season and honestly it shouldn’t even be a debate.
