My heart is breaking for President Biden. If the rumors are true, let’s be compassionate. A good man who has devoted his life to serving his country. Regardless of your party, this is a human moment. This is as tough as it gets.

Highly recommend #highered policy folks listen to this important reporting about the implications of college closures on students. Despite increasing college closures, paths for students to transfer remain cumbersome at best. We need to do better. npr.org/2024/07/02/119891226…

#highered staff across the country who are trying to package student aid amidst unprecedented FAFSA delays are also being asked to pull together new reporting - in both cases having incomplete information. A reporting delay to account for this is a no brainer.
Citing FAFSA Mess, Colleges Want Relief From New Gainful Rule @USEDGov asked for two years’ worth of data by July 31—a task that will be “a significant institutional undertaking,” administrators say. #HigherEd bit.ly/49f1A7U
