You forgot the most important question "Why is this happening?" Can you survive on a pay of N150,000 in this current economy without owing? Who are the people that are glorified the most and what do they do? Who do (not should) the young ones look up to?
You work in a bank with a pay of N150, 000 but your once classmate visits the bank to make transactions of millions. Each time he comes, he tips you like 10k. He is a Yahoo guy that makes millions in a month, but see you working your a$$ out every month for just 150k. Several thoughts begin to run through your mind... If you want, he's ready to teach you for free. Who no like money? 🤔 Who like suffering? Few months after you resign... Imagine if 2 or 3 people resign from all the branches... Imagine they call for interview for new intakes and none comes... Just imagine... My Bricklayer told me that boys does want to learn the work again, and those who learnt earlier and leaving it for Yahoo. I kept calling him, and he kept telling me he can't work alone, no laborer, na mason man, and when they come, the charge is now double... I have been looking for workers for over 1yr, and have gotten none. The one I'm managing comes anytime he wishes because to him I can't sack him since I'm seriously short staffed. I found a 15yr old boy who is in SS1 and said he wants to be coming after school, but in 6days he stole 6 goods in my shop, all worth N550,000. Internet fraud has done serious harm to our society and to our economy. Imagine you won't see mechanic, plumber, shoemaker, to do your jobs... Just imagine 🤔! Boys don't want to learn work or trade again. Yahoo is a dangerous trend. I never saw the danger before now... Imagine in 10yrs time when the present artisans are off and none to replace them. The government should fight them mercilessly! SAY NO TO INTERNET FRAUD! SAY NO TO ILLEGITIMATE BUSINESSES! SAY NO TO YAHOO!

It's less that they wasted our time, and more that Nigeria now has no structure. Our parents in government schools played obscure sports like cricket, there were so many extracurricular activities to engage the young mind. Now we are all optimising for office jobs. They had all the opportunities and gave us none.
Another thing our educational system wasted our time on

Look here people another Ned stark
For months, I was giving a girl in my church ₦30,000 every month to support her in school. During the last holiday, I saw her in a very compromising situation with some boys. I spoke to her about it and the conversation didn't go well. Thinking I was doing the right thing, I informed her mother so she could advise her. That same day, she sent me voice notes telling me not to think that because I give her ₦30,000 monthly, I can tell her how to live her life. She literally insulted me but I didn't reply. A few days later, she started apologizing. I still didn't respond Since returning to school last month, she has reached out several times asking if I can resume the monthly support. I have forgiven her. But I have not forgotten those voice notes. Should I continue helping her or let it end here? Please advise me

This right here is the problem of Nigerians. We adapt to anything at blistering speeds. Gas is expensive, ditch it and start using charcoal. Sachet water is expensive, ditch it and start drinking well. They are kidnapping in the rural areas, ditch it and move to urban arrears. Fuel is too expensive, pack car at home and take public transport. Foreign rice is too expensive, ditch it and buy cheap local and stony ones instead. They kidnap and kill one child, hold the remaining ones tight and keep praying. We don't have a limit to our ability to suffer. We are the most useless and gullible citizens on the planet.
2000 Naira per Kg of gas? When One bag of charcoal is 6k! I don go buy coal pot.

Nothing like that. Using VPN won’t help you regardless of if content creators spoke about it or not. People like assume Nigerians are the only ones that share means on the internet.
There’s this app that helps people get remote jobs called Outlier. A lot of people around the world use the app, but it’s not officially available in Nigeria. Nigerians in the UK and US use it, and some people in Nigeria reportedly use VPNs to access it. Now, some Nigerian content creators are talking about it on TikTok and creating content that encourages Nigerians to use VPNs to access the app. As a result, the founders of the app are reportedly bl@cklisting Nigerian names and b@nning accounts linked to them

I don't understand why the system for PVC registration cannot pull user information from the NIN database and you simply update the necessary voter information. It's still the same fingerprint and photograph that were taken during NIN registration?

I believe that everything else can be filled online from our homes/business centers etc. In my opinion, the process is made tedious on purpose to discourage potential voters from registering.

Many of you want great relationships but all you want to do is take. There’s nothing great that comes out of always taking. Even friendships but you want life long partners while being a leach. If you like stay online and let people deceive you that you are some sort of prize that no one can get tired of.

Why?
Jun 6
You made money and all of a sudden, you want to get married immediately. That is a very sick mentality.

Nobody talks about how stressful the process is. It's not just some walk in the park. People sacrifice their time, leave their businesses to go and register and they can't even get it at the end of the day. Even with the online registration, the process hasn't gotten easier.

If you don't have your PVC by now and you're taking zero steps to get one. You're a joke. And you're playing with your life.

There are other ways of protest
If we start a protest, the Military that has gone silent will be the first to stand against unarmed Nigerians.

There are other forms of protest actually. Most Nigerians only know the one that involves carrying placards on the streets.
People who say this are the actual cowards, they just want to appear passionate. Where were you when youths marched to Lekki Tollgate 20-10-2020 to protest Police Brutality #Endsars, you know how they turned off the billboard light and shot at unarmed protesters. Last year during the #endbadgovernance protest, a lot of people sustained injuries. What more do you want us to do? Face a government who has zero respect for human lives? If the ones who died during the #endsars protest could look down to see what's happening today, they'd wish they stayed at home. It's not worth it.

I’m sure the topic of conversation is “being civilized”. My question to you is why your definition of civil behavior is based on a white mans definition. If they chose to stay mute in the cave so what. Would you say the same thing if it were them having a good time?
I really don't talk too much about racism even if I've been on the receiving end, but I get it. Perhaps if I were white, I'd be very racist too.
