Traveling to #SHAPEKC has been interesting! Almost every single flight has been canceled. The place is virtually abandoned. It's almost surreal. And then just when I sat down for lunch I realized I had left my backpack at the security check!!
Pt. 1 HNY! 1 of my favorite New Year activities was #OneWord. 2 class sessions involving a read aloud, a series of simple games revolving around finding their One Word, and recording their words on their class poster. Many classroom tchrs. collaborated and Ss created art.

I still encourage young professionals and PE majors to get on X, but it is a hard sell. Some are Leary about social media in general, others not keen when it changed from twitter. It still has legs though - we have to keep pushing.
