Canada knows how to host the World Cup!

I love the symbolism of Hans Landa & King Schultz being played by the same actor, with many of the same superficial characteristics: theatricality, methodical nature, German upbringing, manipulative use of politeness & charm. But put to radically different ends.

I remember Canada being outnumbered at home in Toronto….now they walk out to a sea of red at a World Cup at home. Chills.

Canada needed something out of that match, and got it, and Cyle Larin gets to be a World Cup hero. That game was a relief.
