I wish reliable geolocator accounts had higher followings than a lot of these 'osint' accounts just posting fake videos, images and AI slop and making a buck off of misinforming people. I know some people that have done literal thousands of geolocations, some of which ended up being used in atrocity investigations or just plain helping regular people be informed in conflicts. Said people's accounts have less than 1% of the following of big accounts whose net contribution on twitter is AI slop, fake videos /images(showing strikes on Tehran as strikes on Tel Aviv and vice versa) and just astonishingly stupid commentary. I do not put so much effort into this so I don't care that my following is small, but I've seen people putting so much effort into providing reliable information for you the average person on twitter yet they're barely noticed.
