Hey Everyone! Just donated to help our fellow indie game dev out. He's in a very tough situation right now... Our man Charlie is a 42 year old bloke (proper bloke), suffers with Tourette Syndrome and multiple degenerative spinal conditions, 14 years ago he went under the knife for a lumbar spine fusion operation from L5 to S1 with 2 big metal rods, 2 years later had a disc replaced in his neck at C6 and had fragments of bone stuck in the nerve passage into the spinal cord. He's making a really cool RTS game, @MeridianDivide , and unfortunately is going to have to get rid of his game dev gear to help fund his health & family. Let's show up and show out for our man @CharlesHorwood and keep this dude in the game dev game. Just finished up a 3 hour stream of Tempest Rising. Several Months after release it's looking pretty damn good! Had several games with the last game lasting 1h:45m which was a 3v3 skirmish which turned into a 1v3 Ultimately a tonne of fun. Playing with a 500 unit cap instead of the 200 cap really made the game more winnable and enjoyable, after several waves of units dying I needed to rethink my strategy and expand my passive economy on a map that had dwindling resources. Artillery held the defence and in the end, it was mass drone command ship and sentinel spam that won me the match. Tempest Rising is going in the right direction and is worth picking up for any RTS/C&C fan.
