A good reminder that when he talks about ppl being “wrong in 2020,” it was about the primary, not the general (and he was underestimated in the primary!).
He was far ahead in the general election polls and won by less than 45k votes across 3 states.

Biden's in his worst poll position ever against Trump. He's the 1st Democrat to trail in national July polls since 2000.

IMO, Dems would have a better chance of winning if their nominee were capable of giving (coherent) interviews to swing-state media outlets, keeping a strenuous campaign schedule, and persuading more than 30% of voters that they're fit to serve.
It's odd to me how many disagree.

I don't know how much of this is Trump's fault, but it does seem like committed partisans brazenly lying and being closed to new information is normal now. It is now ok, across politics, to be completely, proudly, and, in fact, knowingly unmoored from reality.

If I see one more person call this a “bad debate” I’m going to lose my mind. Bad does not cover what we saw. Nixon sweating through his shirt was bad. What we witnessed was a 90-minute medical event foisted on us by arrogant lunatics who’d rather lose than admit they were wrong.
