Honored to speak at the 18th annual International Congress of Neuromuscular Diseases in Perth, Australia! Great session on “Clinical Trials in Myositis: Emerging therapeutics and innovative trial design” with co-speakers @MariannedeViss1 @JoostRaaphorst Mazen Dimachkie and chaired by the lovely @MerrileeNeedham
Above all, it was great to meet to new colleagues and friends and also enjoy the phenomenal weather and beautiful beaches!

So universities make research professors pay for their entire salary & research through grant funding, but then the university also takes a cut of your grant funding? Seems like you’d have to always apply for grants, so when do you do research? Is this why you’re all kinda grumpy
