Hell yeah. Can’t wait for these little guys to be old enough to fuck up a golf course.
Our Chacoan peccary herd just grew again! Three adorable little peclets were born on Tuesday to mom Vanilla Bean and dad Stoop. Chacoan peccaries are an endangered species native to the Gran Chaco region of South America. Peclet video by Keeper Cassie and Zoo Director Josh.

There'll be massive financial fall out from this legislation being passed, the question is how long it'll take them to rollback on it, because they will. They're only thinking of digital surveillance, not the multilayered ripple effects on how it'll impact everything every where.
Saw this post on reddit which makes a good point about how the inability to upload ID to social media will impact the income of people who use social media to sell stuff they make, like disabled people in legislated destitution who sell their art.

So many folks are dealing with the guilt & anxiety of not being able to do more. It’s a real struggle. A taxi driver today was saying that some days they only make $20 and then he sees a person who don’t have any money for food, so he gives them $5. The taxi driver had 6 kids.

Ban kids from the mall and they'll hang out in the ally behind the mall. Ban kids from the big social media platforms, the ones that invest the most in safety and moderation, and kids will just go to sketchier platforms. Governments know this. They only do it to force online IDs.

I thought about this and realized I believe people who care about you can mistreat you. For me I want to normalize saying "this treatment is unacceptable regardless of how someone feels about me" and move on from there
Normalise saying “someone who cares about me would not treat me this way.” And move on, no matter who tf it is.

anyway unrelatedly do y’all remember when “to catch a predator” kinda killed a guy
Insane story. A guy meets a girl from a dating app, turns out to be a paid performer for an p*dophile hunter Kick streamer who claims she told him she was 16. Guy says she never said she was 16. Phone messages prove he is correct - but only after the police have already come and taken him away, live on stream. The police, by the way, take selfies with the p*dophile hunter. Meanwhile, the streamer is promoting clips that share the guy's Instagram page, the name of his company, and his father’s name and company, which gets inundated with harassing calls and texts. The guy is eventually exonerated by the police, and the main content taken down, but the clips have already gone viral all over the world. The streamer's account gets banned, but is now back up, and is simply moving the content stream to Europe. nytimes.com/2026/06/10/techn…

The people burning down buildings are now checking the phones of people who film them and burning the cars of those who do it often. They are not just violent, they are organised enough to cover their tracks. Will this get more media attention than ZP's underwear wash?
The tiktoker Mr Belfast, who has been livestreaming events, has had his car targeted tonight in an arson attack

Am I reaching, or is the legacy media's current attempt to associate "fanfiction" with "porn for women" in the minds of the general public not a coincidence when Internet ID laws and corporate Internet takeover via AI and payment processers are going on at the exact same time?
The concept of thinking you need to go to HR because your employee writes fanfic that *might* be explicit. 🙃

When I was fully medicated for ADHD and my depression went into remission I felt like I was in a sort of flow state even with cognitive issues. I was like am I manic?! And my therapist was like no this is just your personality 😭😭😭
guy with adhd saying 'id be so functional if i was medicated' and then they get meds and slowly realize that they are just genuinely a bit stupid

I suspect the problem is not exactly that people do not believe that coercion, exploitation, threat, and force are a commonplace part of sexual culture, but that these have become so ubiquitous and banal that it does not quite occur to people to understand them as violence.

Between Pelicot, Epstein, the so-called “rape academy,” Andrew Tate, and what has long been tolerated elsewhere, I wonder how long it will take to communicate that this kind of networked, scaled, systematized sexual abuse of women by men is not an exception but a norm.
For the past 9 months, I've been investigating Andrew Tate's empire of sexual exploitation — drawing on thousands of private messages and sealed court files, as well as interviews with the Tates, their associates & more than a dozen alleged victims. Here's what I found: newyorker.com/magazine/2026/…

ABC is now lying about the substance of the motion that was on the table before modifying it to make it look like they supported the motion while removing the main thing that would actually make our streets safer for everyone. #vanpoli
Yesterday, ABC voted to keep Vancouver moving. While the non-ABC parties on Council wanted to lower speed limits on major arterial roads to 30 km/h and 40 km/h, ABC chose to stand with commuters and residents. Speed limits must be driven by common sense, not ideology. Let's keep Vancouver moving forward.
