Tonight was a good night.
Great group come out to the Mora Library to talk about what’s broken in Congress and what we can do about it. We covered the CAPT Act, accountability, and what real representation is supposed to look like.
I’m grateful for every person who showed up. This is how it starts, one conversation at a time.

I was denied access to GOP voter and delegate data because I didn't pledge to abide by the endorsement (a rule created in Dec after I filed with FEC). Others pledged to abide, used the data, and are now reversing themselves.
My word means something to me.
The endorsement process is broken, but I still showed up and had real conversations. Vote August 11th to unseat entrenched politicians like @GOPMajorityWhip and return this MN6 seat to the people.

“Take care of the people at home first,” says Rep. Emmer — 1,023 days since his last in‑person, public event. Yet he spent another week on a media tour in D.C. and New York.
Public service starts with showing up. I learned that firsthand after more than a year (and still waiting) of trying to get a response from @GOPMajorityWhip about a veteran’s issue in our area. That silence is what convinced me that if we want better leadership, ordinary people have to step up and provide it.
On CNBC last Friday, House Majority Whip @tomemmer explained his job:
"You take care of the people at home first. There's nobody in Washington DC that cast a vote for you, so you take care of those people. You're their voice."
The seven days that followed:
- 6 national TV/radio hits — CNBC, Fox & Friends, Scott Jennings, Sid Rosenberg, Brian Kilmeade, Maria Bartiromo
- 0 documented in-district events
- 0 Memorial Day appearances in MN-06 we could find
- 1 floor vote his own leadership brought up — and lost
- 1,023 days since his last in-person town hall
Both of his 2026 challengers — DFL-endorsed @ChapinForMN6 (who officially filed Wednesday) and Marine veteran @MikeFoley4REAL — were in the district.
He was in Manhattan, sitting for back-to-back hits the morning after Memorial Day.
The standard is his. The receipts are his.
