Thank you @TaraABC7 for highlighting our advocacy for Drug-Free Sidewalks in the 12 months since we launched. Too many people are still suffering on the streets. We have more work to do... @Ambassador4Rec @MattHaneySF @mattdorsey

My op-ed in the SF Standard We need to examine how the virtue signaling nonprofit industrial complex is complicit in making Asian Americans unsafe in San Francisco and nationally Watch where your dollars go
Opinion: The man who killed Grandpa Vicha is free. To understand why, follow the $200 million California spent on organizations that argued against punishing the people killing us. 📝: @garrytan sfstandard.com/opinion/2026/…

People selling drugs on the streets won’t be able to hide from police in food & tobacco stores after midnight anymore. The @sfbos had their final vote to expand a curfew from the Tenderloin to SOMA. Shop on 6th street to support small businesses from sunrise to midnight. @StopDrugDeaths @50RandomActs

I won’t stay quiet about a congressional forum that fails survivors. I believe all candidates, including @saikatc & @conniechansf, should pull out of all events hosted by SFLDC unless that changes. I’m sharing my story again bc survivors deserve to be centered — always.

I welcome a candidate forum with SF’s Latino community, but not one spearheaded by an org that refused to hold its leader accountable when he was credibly accused of sexual assault. I look forward to a forum put on by other orgs. I call on my opponents to take this stand as well.

I asked Supervisor Connie Chan to resign in May because she refuses to acknowledge even basic needs of the Asian American community for public safety I heard instead of resigning, she's actually running for Nancy Pelosi's seat. Connie Chan would be a disaster for SF and for America.

SF Supervisor Connie Chan defunds the police, supported a disgraced Boudin who hurt our Asian American elders—of course her latest ‘anti Asian hate’ resolution never mentions public safety even once. Enough. Supervisor Chan, resign. To the mod SF DCCC, we demand public safety.

We have to get back to basics. California needs a plain spoken effective governor.
San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan told me he'll decide within the next couple of weeks if he's running for California governor. "I haven't seen any of the current candidates speak clearly and boldly," he said, on issues including crime, homelessness and cost of living.

San Francisco’s jail in San Bruno has a dedicated unit for up to 60 men struggling with addiction. We toured “B Dorm” where they are working to get people on the Road2Recovery & create elements of a therapeutic community. Check out the mural with a Drug-free zone sign! #sanfrancisco

We organized a trick-or-treating-merchant walk yesterday with @tl_merchants. 🎃Teens living in drug-market zones wanted to give younger kids a chance to celebrate Halloween despite the trauma of seeing open-air drug use on a daily basis

Mr. Young’s sentence reflects the gravity of his crimes. The taking of Kelvin Chew’s young life was senseless and left his family, friends and community grieving. Although I know nothing we do can bring him back, I hope that this sentence brings his family a measure of comfort...
1/ District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF announced today that the Honorable Judge Harry Dorfman sentenced Zion Young to a term of 50 years to life in State Prison following his conviction for a murder committed during an attempted robbery in 2020. Release: sfdistrictattorney.org/zion-…

I had to practice how to say 无毒人行道 in Mandarin but I think I finally managed to roll it off my tongue. Thank you for inviting me & @MissLily to talk to Chinese voters about the impact drug policies have had on residents in every corner of SF, esp. Chinese seniors living in the Tenderloin @garrytan
CADC November Meeting was well attended as we welcomed @SFBOS President @RafaelMandelman, and @DrugFreeSidewlk @MissLily @Lanier4SF to discuss what they are working on and to get to know us. Sign up at sfcadc.org to join the CADC Holiday Party on 12/11/25!

The lag in San Francisco on Prop 36 implementation is due to SF judges almost exclusively rejecting any filings in court under Prop 36 guidelines. The DA has little control over that. We need new judges. @incitafusio @TheVOSF

I finally got the public records request back. SF Public Schools (@SFUnified) paid $182,000 to a consultant, while already in a deficit, to implement “grading for equity". The advice: make 41% a passing grade, and stop grading homework. Equity achieved.
28 May 2025
San Francisco schools is trying its absolute hardest to make sure all middle income families who could move out of the city do so right away “Grading for Equity” is going to be a real disaster and I guess this is a boon for SF private schools and Burlingame housing prices
