Congratulations to Eliza Moore
@STMneurosci and Bailey Cardwell
@MonashImmunol, PhD students who blitzed our Three-Minute Thesis competition today.
Eliza came in No. 1 and scooped the People's Choice Prize summing up her research with supervisors
@patrick_kwan and Ben Rollo on targeting the adenosine system to help people living with drug-resistant epilepsy.
She'll vie for the chance to become the Monash Uni representative at the Asia-Pacific 3MT competition in Queensland later this year.
Bailey spoke on how he's decoding lung fibrosis, with supervisor
@BenJMarsland.
Many thanks to our other entrants for fantastic presentations: Misbah Aziz (Diabetes); Sydney Harris and Grace Jin (Neuroscience); Joshua Law (Medicine-Alfred); and Murali Magatshvaren Saras (Infectious Diseases).
Remember, you can inquire about becoming a PhD student at
@MonashSTM at any time, by attending our
@Alfred_Research annual student recruitment event on Thu 7 August.
