It does not take 1000 days to put up signs and paint for bus lanes. The City can move quickly when asked by soccer-themed summer festivities, meanwhile residents and transit riders have been demanding and waiting for bus lanes on 9 corridors across the city for years.

Awesome to see @seanorr bringing forward this motion following @MovementYVR's advocacy for a low income transit pass! Write or speak to council (link in replies) and let them know how important it is to have access to affordable transit for everyone!

TransLink just dropped the final version of a plan to update the transit network from UBC all the way to New Westminster, called the Burrard Peninsula Area Transportation Plan, or BPATP for short. 🧵 movementyvr.ca/release-bpatp…
Movement was consulted on the plan (our own vision for the region is available on our website) and we’re pleased to see that many of our ideas were included! movementyvr.ca/bpatp/
