Our school board has to adopt the budget for 23-24 next week. In it, tchrs aren’t being given what they need to keep up with the cost of living bc #txlege failed to fund #txed even tho we had the largest surplus in history. @GregAbbott_TX - time to stop holding #txed hostage.

Remember that time #txlege had historic amounts of money but didn’t give it to teachers because their boss wanted to give it to wealthy people who send their kids to private school, and when no one liked that idea he said if they can’t have it no one can? Yeah, I remember too.
