This is a historic agreement addressing a long-term injustice. More work to do but incredibly important.
Last night in the midst of a global pandemic, Chief Turtle, on behalf of the people of Grassy Narrows, and I, for Canada, signed a historic agreement to build a mercury treatment facility in Grassy Narrows and begin to right an injustice that lasted half a century. #cdnpoli
