It is utterly unacceptable that we are living in a time & place where Jewish children are afraid to attend school in Canada. Maybe you didnāt see it at your school today, but our hallways & classrooms were noticeably quiet. I am both outraged & heartbroken. #onted

Iām horrified by what is happening in Israel, and Iām shocked by the vitriol & cheering from pro-Hamas groups who are celebrating the murder and kidnapping of women, children, the elderly, and entire families. Iām about education for a better world, so unfollow me if youāre not.

Canāt believe weāre actually here. To pull this wonderful book, an Indigenous story written by an Indigenous author & current @ForestofReading nominee, is the antithesis of the reconciliation that should be the foundation of our public education system. Shameful.

The Durham District School Board has pulled The Great Bear from its libraries, and Iām shocked.
We need to be putting more books by Indigenous authors on the shelves, not taking them out.
