I have always wondered why some people struggle with the concept that the Royal Family stand outside global politics and that the King is not a political figure. Generally I put it down to their addiction to polarised opinions and inability to recognise there is nuance on this subject.
What I deduce from your post, is that you are against the protection of the natural world & the people that live within it. You are suspicious of those who boldly take a stand & firmly put them in the category of scheming elites, because you refute evidence-based facts for conspiracy theories. So many of the bold, but misguided assertions in your post need addressing. This might take a while.
The King’s long-standing environmental activism, dates back to 1970 when he made his first speech on pollution. He was one of the first vocal public figures drawing attention to the subject, based on what he had witnessed with his own eyes. Not a band waggon jumper, but a visionary. Ever since it has been a cornerstone of his public work with the emphasis on the interconnectedness of all living things. No doubt influenced by his father, William’s EarthShot prize focuses on discovering & scaling innovative solutions to repair the planet. It is not a doctrine set up to judge how people live their lives.
You are clearly fearful of WEF & the UN but without any explanation why.
WEF is a platform for collaboration & exchanging ideas on critical challenges like economic growth, climate change & technology regulation. It is not a network of Machiavellian elites planning to change the world for the benefit of themselves at the expense of the many. That is classic conspiracy theory territory. Charles’ only speech at Davos was about sustainable markets and William’s was about mental health. How can anyone be opposed to exploring solutions for these subjects?
The function of the UN is to protect human rights, deliver humanitarian aid, promote sustainable development & uphold international law. I acknowledge there are examples of where they have not upheld high standards in this regard, but there are many, many more examples of them supporting the most vulnerable people on the planet. Why are you suspicious of this?
Charles highlighted global population growth as a significant driver of environmental degradation & climate change, but his emphasis was on sustainability to support life, NOT population control. William did not speak in those terms either. He stated the fact that population growth in Africa has posed a threat to wildlife & biodiversity as urbanisation naturally expanded across the continent. These are the facts, but you have twisted them into something ugly.
Finally.. your absurd suggestion that the Royal Family are working against the citizens of the UK when they are seen to be doing the complete opposite on a daily basis makes me seriously question your cognitive abilities. It’s all very well having opinions, but without researching the facts they cannot be taken seriously. To me, your post just reads as if you have soaked up every nutjob conspiracy on the internet and regurgitated it in your post.
