My unpopular opinion is that folk at the imperial core who are newly learning about anticolonial struggles need to pause their imperial views stated with loud imperial hubris because work of learning is done in silence and must be done in humility

Extremely unpopular opinion (I suspect): hakas will not get Maori people their rights, just as Debka won't work for Palestinians. Anger, direct action, strikes, and serious disruptions will. There are very clear rules for effective political struggle, and indigenous culture is for indigenous people.
