Un momento histórico para la Basílica de la Sagrada Família. Así hemos vivido la misa solemne presidida por el Papa León XIV y la posterior bendición e inauguración de la torre de Jesucristo. ¡Gracias a todas las personas que nos habéis acompañado! 🙌

The Sagrada Família is almost complete - but why did it take 144 years? We speak to Tristram Carfrae and Steve McKechnie, the structural engineers behind the church's finishing touches. #Gaudí #SagradaFamília #c4news

Tomorrow, 10th June, will be a historic day for the Basilica of the Sagrada Família, and you can follow it live on our social media channels, from 745 p.m. (Instagram, Youtube and TikTok)📲 Don’t miss the solemn mass on the centenary of Gaudí’s death, officiated by Pope Leo XIV, and the blessing and inauguration of the tower of Jesus Christ, with a performance created especially for the occasion, which will illuminate the tower of Jesus Christ and Barcelona’s sky in a visual homage to Gaudí’s creativity and vision.

I have met him twice - while campaigning for Labour in 2024. The second time he stopped everything to talk to me in my wheelchair-such a gentleman and he had time to listen to me. Will always appreciate it.

A full day in London for under £10🌆💸    Start your day with skyline views at @horizon22B - a completely free viewpoint in the heart of the city. Then take a scenic walk across Millennium Bridge and on to Shakespeare's Globe where you can grab tickets from just £5 and soak up a bit of culture on the South Bank.    Finish the day at Borough Market picking up a £4.50 treat from Bread Ahead — the perfect sweet ending to a full London day without breaking the £10 mark🍩🌉    #LondonMakesItPossible #VisitLondon

Well done to Max Wilkinson from the Lib Dems (and others) in Parliament today calling out Farage for ignoring the wishes of the family of Henry and using their tragedy to stoke hate and division. Hear also the shouts of 'rubbish' from the Reform benches; shame on them. #ReformUK

Just some of the other real heroes today! Fair play to all the @IslingtonBC workers who will leave the parish clean & tidy after a mad day 👏

100 metres below ground in the Salt Mine south of Krakow is a church which holds services regularly. The sculptures in the walls of the salt are the work of one of the miners who earned a place at art college….

Enjoyed the most wonderful lunch with a lovely group of friends @ChezBruce in south London today. The food, wine and service were all beyond praise. A very special place for a special occasion. Thank you.

Just been reminded of when I went to a garden party at Buckingham Palace and it was a little wet (not very much and not for very long) and I took this brilliant umbrella ☂️ which features the inside of the dome of @StPaulsLondon - available in the shop at the cathedral.

There are no public litter bins in Japan, and the nearest approximation to them are recycling g bins in convenience stores. Thee is virtually no public littering, because children are role modelled by adults to take their litter home to dispose of with household waste.
