See, sell-side CAN add value. Wells Fargo with an update on $CMG burrito bowls showing better results than their initial test in 2024.
"To put the 'weight debate' to rest, we consumed 75 like-for-like $CMG burrito bowls in NYC (half in store, half digital, various locations)." - Zachary Fadem and his Wells Fargo team This is the hard work we'd expect from the sell-side into the final days of II voting.

"Dating back to June '24, "Store #1" in midtown had the smallest bowl size of 17.7oz; this store now prepares the largest median bowl at 23.3oz, or 31%" - Zachary be like you're welcome, New York

Perhaps one way to get exposure to Unitree is via $HSAI, which provides Lidars to them. Note that it was added to Dept of War entity list yesterday, so it must be a real company! :)

I liked $FUTU setup anyway now that China mainland is out of the numbers and overhang removed, leaving the stock pretty cheap w/ clear path to multiple expansion via continued execution. But what caught my eye post earnings conference call is two clear catalyst that could spark the stock - launches of prediction markets in the US and crypto exchange in Hong Kong. Y i get the obvious pushback on geopolitics but there are not too many ways to get exposures to these themes, especially via well executing, very reasonably priced stock.

And have to love how aggressive $FUTU was with buyback on this pullbacks.. talk is cheap, have to appreciate company actually making actions when the opportunity arises.

I would expect $FUTU wild discount to $HOOD $IBKR narrow pretty quickly once people realize the overhangs are firmly in the rear view mirror and there's a catalyst path ahead.

So apparently all that data being created and collected indeed needs to be handled properly.. $MDB such an obvious beneficiary, yet most people completely unable to figure it out.
So, we have a storage boom because of the amount of data collected and generated growing so fast.. "never delete, everything can be useful". Yet, people haven't figured out how $MDB is also a direct play on this theme.. document database the easiest way to handle all of that..

markets are funny.. for a while cybersecurity stocks sold off on any slightest hind of threat by Anthropic / OpenAI.. but now when Google basically announces plans to become a full range, AI driven security vendor, nobody seems to even notice.. despite Google actual sector know-how via Viz and Mandiant.. and a large sales organization / client base to sell to. Not saying $CRWD $PANW types should see a violent sell-off on that but complete ignorance seems wrong as well. cloud.google.com/blog/produc…

We have gone from overreacting to some half-random headline that might or might not indicate some future plans to utterly ignoring an actual product launch from one of the largest companies in the world with deep sector expertise that should be viewed as a direct, tangible competitive threat to $CRWD $PANW

It is really curious $IONQ and $SKYT not getting $$ just like everyone else in quantum did. $IONQ seems like highly likely candidate; $SKYT very probable as well. So what's the holdup - possible that this makes both companies / shareholders consider if that award should have an impact on the agreed and approved acquisition price. Yes, the deal is already approved by the shareholders but since that new information has come to light, so there may be a window. Just using $100m award like most were getting would mean $2 per share for $SKYT. And $GFS as a foundry got $375m. So I think cannot rule out IONQ-SKYT re-pricing the deal higher, along with award announcements when negotiations are done. Would appreciate feedback from merger arb/event driven type of guys.

Despite the moves over the past few days, I think it is still just a beginning for $ENPH $SEDG re-rating on data center potential. Barely anyone outside the most nimble players have had a change to position for the upside and out of more followed accounts, only @insane_analyst has really picked up these names on the theme.
Both $ENPH and $SEDG make a lot of sense as powering data center plays - both have introduced solid state transformers, have long-term expertise and experience with GaN / SiC, respectively, both have manufacturing capabilities and capacity to make real impact.. question obviously is timing as it is more of a 2027/28 theme. But, as the market is constantly showing its willingness to start looking ahead - waiting means the risk of missing out..

Both $ENPH and $SEDG are at Deutsche solar conference tomorrow - guess it gives people a chance to dig more into their Solid State Transformers roadmaps.

Great writeup on $WOLF. This name is probably the most leveraged name you can imagine on the power semis theme.
Why $WOLF became one of my 3 long term positions. A margin recovery story. This turned out to be a long deep dive so you might need to set aside a day. Writing this took longer than I expected but it emphasizes why $WOLF made it into a concentrated long term portfolio. 👇✍️

I think what most people don't realize re $WOLF is the insane operating leverage they have when ramping production.. high fixed costs, which have hurt the bottom line so far.. but when ramping up production there's very little extra costs, basically all of the additional revenue falls right into the bottom line.. no need for additional capex with Mohawk Valley investments already done.
