This Mother’s Day, I’m thinking about my mom, and all the lessons she taught me. I'm proud to honor her memory with the Ann Dunham Water Terrace at the Obama Presidential Center.

Milestone Achieved!🥳🥳@ZvitamboZim. The SHINE trial has been following children from birth, to understand how early life conditions affect children’s health, growth and learning as they get older. We have now assessed 1000 children at 11 years of age! @joepiper @NtoziniRobert

🔸Good day Honourable Minister @MhonaFelix, I’m not sure what your assigned engineers are going to do with the phone calls they receive but please note that piling up rubble next to a bunch of potholes does not constitute fixing our roads. We expect these roads to be resurfaced properly not just temporarily filled with soil, bricks or rubble. The latter makes potholes worse. We expect you to take this crisis seriously. A PR memo won’t cut it I’m afraid. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

The @MonavaleWetland Ramsar Site is an urban paradise in the heart of Harare. 🌆🌅🌿 We must protect it—and all wetlands and green spaces across the city—for the sake of our children and our children’s children. #SaveMonavaleVlei

Which view of @MonavaleWetland Ramsar Site do you prefer? A developer has constructed a barbed wire fence across the Avondale stream & Little Marimba stream, encroaching into the Core Area of the vlei that’s been protected by conservation groups for decades. #SaveMonavaleVlei

Stop the fence. This construction would destroy the Monavale wetland, severing a vital green corridor and threatening our city's environmental future. Let's unite to protect our wetlands. Raise your voice now. 🌱💚 #SaveMonavaleVlei

From our earliest days, Black history has always been American history – and Black folks have profoundly shaped our American culture through music, art, literature, sports, and beyond. One month a year is not sufficient to celebrate the power of the movements and the people who have fought for the rights we enjoy today. That’s something that we have to do each and every day, as we strive to live up to their example and make sure our children and grandchildren remember their stories.
