I’m not sure what your assigned engineers are going to do with the phone calls they receive but please note that piling up rubble next to a bunch of potholes does not constitute fixing our roads. We expect these roads to be resurfaced properly not just temporarily filled with soil, bricks or rubble. The latter makes potholes worse.
We expect you to take this crisis seriously. A PR memo won’t cut it I’m afraid.

One month a year is not sufficient to celebrate the power of the movements and the people who have fought for the rights we enjoy today. That’s something that we have to do each and every day, as we strive to live up to their example and make sure our children and grandchildren remember their stories.
