I want to be very clear about this: 2SLGBTQI Canadians – in Alberta and across the country – deserve to be treated with respect, and they should be able to be who they are and love whom they love without fear. Ā  To the members of Edmonton’s 2SLGBTQI community, who we heard from yesterday afternoon: Thank you for speaking so candidly about your fears, your concerns, and your ideas. We are here for you, and we’ll always work with you to build a better future.

In šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ edu, barriers to decolonizing leadership lie in the systemic perpetuation of imperial hubris—privileged positions that overlook the rights of those w/ less power Existing colonial structures hinder decolonization efforts and foster cultural imperialism w/in edu institutions

Hate has no place in our province. I condemn the Islamophobic attack captured on video in Winnipeg & offer my support to the family affected and community. It is important that we come together as Manitobans during these difficult times & stand united against all acts of hatred

The struggle lies in others learning to embrace differences rather than penalizing you for not conforming to the norm. It's their adjustment that needs attention, not your identity. #Queering #Neurodivergent #QueerLeadership #disabilityawareness #Mbed #Equity #Leadership

In my experience working w/ many folks i've realized that every interaction isn't just about the task.. BUT about enabling a shift from non-engagement w/ a disabled NeuroQueer person TO effective collaboration, w/o expecting the latter to conform to neurotypical norms.

When people try and separate a judgment about someone from their identity they are individualizing a systems issues.
