On May 1st I caught Chicago Public Schools bussing kids to an Anti Trump protest. At the protest they told me that their teachers say "F*CK TRUMP!" and "F*CK ICE!" Now my reporting of a student equating Trump to Hitler was shown at congress to push for real change in Chicago Public Schools.

This is what @ChiPubSchools calls “civics” education. Today, Chicago Public Schools CEO Dr. Macquline King testified before Congress. Among the evidence: a CPS permission slip identifying a student field trip to a May Day demonstration as a political protest—with students transported on taxpayer-funded buses. NAVI was first to expose this protest along with @NateFriedman97, and provided the documentation to Congress, including the permission slip @repfine referenced during the hearing and the preceding line of questioning from @RepMessmer. This is the critical work NAVI does: exposing ideological indoctrination in our schools and reclaiming K–12 education for American civic values.
