Appreciated meeting with @NGFA while they were in D.C. this week. We discussed issues facing KS ag producers, including rising costs to transport commodities, the importance of expanding global markets for American exports and working to pass a Farm Bill. I had a great meeting with the National Grain and Feed Association @NGFA.
We spoke about the need for key Columbia River provisions in Surface Transportation Reauthorization and WRDA, renewing USMCA, and the impacts of foreign shipping vessel fees. We must continue to support agriculture, trade, and reliable supply chains.
