🚨 New preprint alert! 🚨 We're excited to share our latest work: "Towards a complete phage tail fiber structure atlas" 🦠🔬 of first author @VKleinSousa
We developed #RBPseg for segmenting and merging phage tail fibers using structural prediction tools.

With this, we modeled non-redundant RBPs, found 16 scaffolds, and identified 89 structural domains. 🌐
Our models are validated with #CryoEM in 5 new fibers from the BASEL collection. This is just the beginning of exploring the tail fiber universe!
