Sohrab, come on. They face the real thing now. Tucker, the vice president's friend and ally, thinks we brought pornography to America to destroy American society. And Mamdani on the other side of the aisle thinks the tiny little NYPD exchange program with the Israel Police "laced the boots" of racist NYC cops.
When Jews are the cause of all the ills, when it's all anyone can talk about -- that's the thing itself.
No, JD Vance isn't an antisemite. But a Jew who sees antisemitism looking at them from the corners of every dark room isn't imagining it. There are polling numbers. It's waves upon waves online that hit every visibly Jewish user of almost any platform every single day. It's millions of people now, and higher among the young as they radicalize online. It includes some of the biggest podcasters alive. And offline too, Jews are the number one target of religious hate crimes in America. Every synagogue in America has guards outside now.
So to tell Jews "you'll soon face the real thing" if they commit the crime of seeing it around them already -- i.e., they're causing it -- is not a decent position to take.
