Today is #ShowYourStripes Here are the stripes for Fathom’s HQ. Clearly showing rapid temperature increases in Bristol in the last ∼20yrs. Whilst climate change is not the only factor driving rising flood risk, it exacerbates existing challenges

Creating these datasets takes a lot of time. Data has value, as it is clear from the boom of ML. But it has a cost too. Kudos to all individuals and institutions who invest their time and resources into making data more open.

Shameless plug... I'm thrilled about my first single-author publication.💖
For a long time, I thought of writing up some good #calibration#practices after calibrating models for 20 years. Here are 10 strategies🧵
Many thx to the #WomenInHydrology SI!

Who knew, when the CAMELS dataset was released in 2017, that one day, there would be enough CAMELS to start a Caravan? Excited about the launch of this community initiative.
Join us for the 3rd edition of the (online) workshop "Improving the Theoretical Underpinnings of Hydrologic Models" on the 11 and 12th of April. Register for free via: forms.gle/nfgsGh9Poy81Ff8K9
