This week has been epic, coaching and facilitating leadership development. I job craft. In a nutshell, job crafting is understanding own values, strengths and aspirations and purposefully aligning them to careers. Get in touch if you want to do it for yourself #coaching #career

#leadershiplessons 'nip things in the butt early' When standards are set, values lived, behaviours exemplified. To fall below once, acknowledged, accepted moved on from. To fall below twice, acknowledged, learned from, planned against. To fall below thrice. Too many.

Bad leaders see power as an opportunity. Good leaders see it as a responsibility. Framing power as a responsibility can discourage leaders from being selfish, making risky decisions, and ignoring advice. It's time to teach people that power is for service, not self-interest.

Facing a challenge right now? Try a bit of free writing for me (give it a go, it worked for me this morning!). What is your challenge? How is it hindering you? What is your hope for it? Who / what can help you? What is one step forward you could take? #hope #coaching #control

The last few weeks have been tough, whether you have been mourning the queen, frustrated with the media or worried about the cost of living. I find the circles of control help me rationalise my thinking. Take a breath and give it a go. #control #positivepsychology #coaching

A week of family time, walks, BBQs on the beach, no stress. Heaven. Changing jobs was one of the best decisions I made. Relaxed going in to leave, means I enjoyed every moment and am refueled for my next challenge #values #purpose #jobcrafting #family #takecontrol #cornwall

So proud of the women's England team. Even happier that the stadium was full, female experts were presenting and my boys know the names of the players and want to watch the matches. If you are raising boys, this book is gem. #feminist #Lionessess drbobbiwegner.com/the-book-r…

Why is it that our best, most creative ideas often come when we are in the shower or doing the washing up? "The most mundane tasks or actions in a cyclical form can spark the creativity within us" (@varunduggi). Graphic by @moina_abdul.
