The finishing line is in sight with all new gates set to be in use by summer.

Today, we'll pick out the highlights from a programme of track upgrades which saw more than 100km of new track laid and nearly 100 key junctions rebuilt with new equipment.

Please plan ahead and check your journey before setting off.

🚉⬆To help reduce congestion and speed up people's journeys at London Victoria station, the number of ticket gates is being increased from 88 to 125.
👍Plus 8 new wide gates are also being installed to improve accessibility for all.
