To enforce its blockade of the Gulf the US has 'disabled' 8 vessels since 14 April. In this latest US attack on ships, on 9 June, 3 Indian seafarers have been killed.
The US blockade, along with its unwillingness to negotiate a real ceasefire, is the root cause of the damage being inflicted on the international economy.
The price of oil is approximately 50% above its level prior to the US launching its war on Iran, and at present that price is rising again.

🔴 New: 3 Indian Seafarers Killed in U.S. Strike on Oil Tanker Off Oman
Three Indian seafarers were killed in a U.S. military strike on the Palau-flagged oil tanker MT Settebello in the Gulf of Oman, India’s shipping minister Sarbananda Sonowal confirmed. The three were initially reported missing before their bodies were recovered; 21 of the 24 Indian crew were rescued.
CENTCOM said a U.S. aircraft fired precision munitions into the ship’s engine room late June 9 after the crew “repeatedly failed to comply” with American instructions, claiming the tanker was carrying Iranian oil in violation of its blockade. CENTCOM said it has similarly disabled eight vessels since the U.S. blockade began April 13.
India condemned the strike and summoned the U.S. chargé d’affaires in New Delhi. The IMO called it the 43rd attack on shipping in or around the Strait of Hormuz since February 28.

This’s Cuba and there’s no electricity. This's a hospital running on bare minimum power in Cuba.
The U.S is starving millions of people in Cuba. The U.S. is laying siege cruelly cut off all fuel and humanitarian aid, power is out, leaving hospitals without electricity. Dialysis patients, babies in NICU, and others will die.
Food is rotting. Water pumps stopped working. Systems are breaking down, strangled by the US fuel chokehold.
This's a criminal act of collective punishment, it's a blatant violation of international law, This’s a crime against humanity.
We should be speaking out loudly in the international community: U.S. military action against Cuba is illegal and unacceptable.
Put an end to U.S. impunity before it takes another sovereign country into chaos.

Trump's war on Iran, most importantly, is severely impacting the lives of people in Iran.
The war is also harming the international economy and depriving people of essential supplies, particularly in the Global South.
The effects are less severe in the Global North, but living standards are being hit. In Britain there is increasing understanding that price rises are due to this war.
These are recent front pages from 2 British newspapers:
the Independent which is a centre right neo-liberal paper; and
the Morning Star which is a left wing working class paper.

In conjunction, European NATO states are stepping up their war preparations against Russia and vastly increasing their military spending.
The US's European allies are preparing for prolonged military action against Russia.
If European states increasingly pursue the US policy of provoking conflict with Russia, they are risking disaster.

So, the blood-soaked comedian has decided to sacrifice tens (?) of thousands more Ukrainian working-class lives in exchange for power, money and endless standing ovations from the West.
