Former Gunner ( @royalartillery1 ) and former @Proud_Sappers Richard (Badge) Samson will this year again lay the wreath at @NorthbourneCh . Can anyone else boast a veteran of pre WW2 horse drawn Artillery, Dunkirk, Alamein, Italian campaign and Normandy? We are very privileged.

Too late for conf, but did you know the @Proud_Sappers has a centenarian veteran who served at El Alamein. He was in @rhqra but rebadged before D-Day and served in a Port Op Coy on Mulberry. He ended WW2 in Schleswig Holstein. He will lay wreath Remembrance Day @NorthbourneCh

The children of Northbourne CE Primary School were in St Augstine’s this morning for a School Harvest Festival. Children learned new ‘Call and Answer’ from our Rector, Father Andrew.
