Children do best when they're raised by a loving mother and father. The data has been pointing in that direction for decades.
Of course, tragedy happens. Death, divorce, abandonment, and countless other circumstances leave many single parents doing an incredible job raising their children.
But there's a difference between overcoming hardship and intentionally creating it.
Children should never be deliberately deprived of a mother or a father because adults want a child on their own terms, as we see through surrogacy.
