How can a disability & mobility campaigner be supporting Reform UK.. who this week criticised "welfare over warfare, benefits over bullets" and who said equality means "treating everyone the same" (rather than personal, differentiated treatment to achieve an equal outcome)!?
Replying to @wandbc
Reform is the only answer!

I will never understand how people Thank the "Lord" at moments like this.

sound like you represent car drivers. Nearly everything is their typical bs eg a disabled person is worse off when cars are restricted. That only applies to blue badge drivers not those in a wheelchair or the blind you mentioned. Blind people are much safer in car free areas.
Replying to @lpoolbeerfest
I don't own a car. I don't drive.

Now John Stewart must either declare nobody listens to his advocacy, or admit that his past position on LTNs followed by his change of mind have actually cost the public money.
Replying to @JohnJohnStewart
If you believe your advocacy and that of UKNA have any resonance at all, then are you not ashamed that you have contributed to investment of public money in something you now want to see removed, using more public money?

"Is it any wonder everyone thinks most are entitled c&&&s" HI STORMCAB. YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT *ONE* CYCLIST. AND YOU'RE SAYING IT'S NO SURPRISE IF THAT'S THEREFORE SEEN TO DEFINE "MOST". So.. SHOULD 1 CABBIE - SAY JOHN WORBOYS - DEFINE "MOST" CABBIES? That's your logic, sir.

now explain Trump calling Scotland home
No but the first thing u need to do to become a citizen is to take an oath of allegiance and to renounce loyalty to any foreign state so when she says Somalia is our home she clearly has still loyalty to somalia therefore she’s not American and neither is half of her kind
15
And what are you? Suddenly an American gatekeeper because you moved from Britain 2 years ago and put a flag in your profile!?
Replying to @Ilhan
Ma’am, this is not Somalia. What do you mean by “our country”?
18
Again - fearing for their life because a named journalist is outside their home?
May 14
Replying to @SBarrettBar
I agree. No Politician should fear for their life, security should be given without question, to each and every Politician, nobody should be attacked for doing their job.
17
How embarrassing is that comment. You're talking about a politician who seeks and who has COURTED publicity SINCE THE 1990s finding a journalist's press accreditation outside his house.. as some kind of THREAT??
Replying to @SBarrettBar
I totally agree Steven. That’s how much he thinks of this country putting himself on the line like he has! I feel so sorry for him as he must have to worry every time he steps out the front door! It’s all wrong! He’s much braver than l would be!

Something slightly unusual and rather unsettling happened last night. Out of nowhere, @YouTube terminated my personal account. No warning. Zero detailed information about why this happened. I've appealed but the (presumably) algorithmically-determined decision stands...

Apparently this was "careless cycling" according to plod, and I got a letter through the post. It beggars belief sometimes. 🤷‍♂️

It's like changing the current Match Of The Day theme (it wasn't the first), leave it alone. When the original EastEnders theme returned they improved it by adding the doof doofs to the start. Up there with Peter Howell adding the squeal to the start of the Doctor Who theme.
April 1994. This "EastEnders" theme which had been used since 1992 was axed and the original returned #90sTV

I worked in retail between 2007-2012. We weren't allowed to stop shoplifters then either - this is nothing to do with 'Labour's socialist utopia'.

🤡 You really couldn’t make it up. GB News losing money… and now asking for public funding. After years of attacking BBC and public service broadcasting, GB News now wants taxpayer support. So it’s “state bad”… until they need it.

Well it's pretty annoying to read some idiot claiming a traffic light controlled junction should be made to look like a ZEBRA CROSSING, which would lead to people walking out thinking traffic would stop.
Calm down dear

The Richard Tice affair @TiceRichard has opened my eyes to something I had never thought about - where MPs live. Apparently it’s perfectly legal for a UK citizen to be elected as an MP even if they don’t live in the UK or pay any tax here. This is ridiculous and must be stopped.
Community note
Under s41 Constitution Reform and Governance Act 2010, an MP is deemed to be UK tax resident and must pay UK taxes. legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2010/25/…

Voice-over observation of the day: AI companies currently appear to be favouring use of the verb "Generate" rather than "Create" - which shows a little more self-awareness and accuracy, I think.
