If you want to see an AI agent work the worst job on the planet, watch as Numeral’s tax agent navigates a state sales tax portal. Every time you remit sales tax, you basically have to navigate portals like this. I say “like this” because there are 50 states and 190 countries, so of course no two are the same. Thankfully, it all boils down to a bunch of data entry and confusing rules to interpret and follow. So to an AI agent (like Numeral’s), it’s a breeze. But still, even fancy Cisco hold music can’t save how annoying this is. And if you’re a founder, you have to do this hundreds of times. Thanks to our team for making this happen; I wouldn’t wish this task on my worst enemy!
