So I tried ASS for the first time today on my HW3 with FSD 12.5.4, with none other than @chuckcook. Turned out to be quite an adventure. Here's my uncut post. ASS had to deal with overcast conditions with light spurts of rain, lots of pedestrians, geese🦢, and more geese 🦢🦢. Recommend watching the whole thing. We covered a LOT!! Verdict: ASS is a profound glimpse into the future IMO. Vision of robot/human harmony and coexistence at it's best if you ask me. This was sooo much fun Chuck. So stoked for round 2 tomorrow 🫶 (rain gods please take a vaca). 00:00 Intro by Chuck 02:25 The very first one 06:33 Respect the curb sensei🙏 07:36 - HW3 vs 4 camera view differences 07:50 Hello geese fam Ima backup no worries 🦢 10:25 More FSD and geese 🦢 12:25 "hater" honk? You decide 13:45 Come to me Robot!! 14:35 Please don't leave me MARSLIFE🥹 17:10 Public road hard-stop. Safety first! 17:55 Go get me some grub! 18:10 Learn by observation 19:48 FSD Geese try 3 🫶

Asking Cybertruck peeps, do you have an aftermarket RVC system in your truck? Do you like it? Would you go back to OEM?
What Cybertruck rearview mirror camera system does everyone recommend. Seems like a no brainer day one accessory.

Some thoughts from FSD 14.3.4 Cybertruck ASS testing with Chuck Cook. Overall: Promising but also a bit underwhelming v1 for me. Key observations: - Sun glare blinding the front facing camera causing the truck to stall. Chuck felt CTs sharply angled windshield doesn't help. Time to make use of that clearer bumper camera maybe @tesla_ai ? - When connection is interrupted for any reason, ASS stalls dead in the middle of a lane instead of gracefully pulling over to a side spot. - Chuck expressed Tesla really needs to give us an Uber-style drop-pin feature so we can manually adjust for poor parking lot map precision - Non-ASS specific observation: FSD in parking lot still feels a bit choppy creating unpredictable paths too often than using regular FSD on an open public road. - 6mph felt a bit too slow

When I give my savings to @elonmusk they multiply. When I give them to you and all of the US government, they disappear.
Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.

You’re such a loser. Lets make sure no one else invest THEIR OWN money, builds companies worth trillions, and becomes a trillionaire due to the value their companies provide. Let’s cap people’s success so we can steal ownership of their companies and give it to the government

If you watch this video and are not filled with joy and excitement for the future of humanity then you might be dead inside. Congrats to everyone at SpaceX and to all retail shareholders who were able to get in on the pre-IPO price. SPCX

The woke protesters in New York are holding signs saying, “STOP ELON • NO TRILLIONAIRES” and “ELON IS STEALING YOUR PENSION.” These slogans are pure nonsense. Elon Musk is the largest taxpayer on Earth. He is not stealing anyone’s pension. Elon has already helped save hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars by cutting wasteful government spending and inefficiency through DOGE. His companies are moving humanity forward and pushing the boundaries of technology. We all know who funds these attacks on Elon. This is the woke mind virus in its purest form.

To add to this. Before joining SpaceX I had lost almost everything because my wife fell ill. Our house, our savings, just about all. I quit my job to take care of her. The only thing we kept was our little Jiu-Jitsu school. After she got better, and it was time to go back to work, a student of ours that worked at SpaceX said they were hiring. He told me to apply as a "non-qualified technician". I had to pass two tests online to get an interview. On interview day, we were told that the interviews were only going to last 15 minutes. Apparently, there just weren't enough Aerospace Techs around. So, they decided to hire 2000 people in just a few months. Anyone they thought they could teach got hired, and the interviews were really only 15 minutes. The gentleman that interviewed me was surprised as a girl knocked on the door and said "times up". He thought the 15 min thing had some room. Two weeks later, there I am at SpaceX working in Composites as an apprentice through a temp company. The following April, on the 21st, I was hired as a SpaceX employee. Two years later we were able to buy a house. At the end, I had worked my way to become the supervisor for materials testing, and this past January decided to retire. What a wild ride it was. I am so proud of my teams. Thank you @elonmusk for creating and giving me this opportunity.

🇺🇸 US: Diesel 🇨🇦 Canada: Diesel 🇦🇺 Australia: Diesel Major economies run double-stack freight trains, but they still rely on diesel because standard electric lines can't clear two-story trains. But instead of settling, India custom-built a 7.5-meter high-rise grid. Today, India is the FIRST and ONLY country on Earth running double-stack containers on pure electric power. This is the scale of transformation happening under the Modi govt.

Makers are the golden goose of America. The entire U.S. economy runs on the backs of the people who design, build, innovate, and produce. Every great society in history has eventually faced the same temptation - to pluck more and more from the goose that lays the golden eggs through over-taxation, over-regulation, bureaucracy, and resentment… until the goose is no more. The lesson is as old as civilization itself. Protect the makers, and prosperity continues. Harm them, and the eggs (and eventually the goose) disappear. I stand with the makers of America 🇺🇸
I grew up mostly raised by my grandparents — staunch Union Democrats. My grandfather (born 1901) started working at age 11 on the new oil refineries near Spindletop in Beaumont, TX, right after that legendary gusher. He spent 55 years as a manual laborer and die-hard union worker, helping build America’s energy infrastructure before retiring in 1967. He came home beat every day. Work was tough back then, but so were the men. He loved this country, loved seeing it grow and prosper. He didn’t hate the men who signed his paycheck — though the union fought them when needed. Both sides were made of tough men. They fought, but they also shared the goal of building something bigger. He loved Horatio Alger stories. He loved progress. My grandmother said he was glued to the TV during the Moon landing. He was proud when I joined the Marines at 18. He didn’t just love America — he wanted it to win. He was the Democratic party of the 1930s-1960s. He's the man who taught me all of the values I carry with me today. I don’t recognize today’s Democratic Party. It feels completely foreign to me, divorced from the values I learned at my grandparents feet. The Democrats at the Carpenters Union Hall where my grandfather would meet from time to time were strong men, body and mind, and they loved this country. Most had served and fought for this country. Today’s Democrats seem like weak miserable people who hate progress. This hit home for me today when I see DNC voices on X attacking Elon and everything he builds, when they should be proud that all of this is happening in America. I’m proud to stand with this Tesla and SpaceX community. That is my party. Not Democrat, not Republican, but Tesla/SpaceX nerds who couldn't get nailed in woodshop. We have our squabbles for sure. But we’re all excited about the future. We want America to lead in AI, robotics, autonomy, and space exploration. I am so proud to throw my lot in with you crazy people.

I am grateful to work under the greatest entrepreneur of our lifetime. If you had asked me 10 years ago if I would be given such a chance, I would have told you what kind of crack you were smoking. There were many stories written by people who never worked for him. But we work for him not because he is powerful or rich, but because he is inspiring. When immigrants like us, bringing nothing but a small suitcase to the US, can achieve something great, it is truly an American dream.

Protesters wrote “STOP MUSK” on the road today in protest of SpaceX’s IPO. Stop Elon Musk from doing what exactly? • Helping people with paralysis regain independence and working to restore vision through Neuralink? • Accelerating the world’s transition to electric vehicles, solar energy and battery storage through Tesla? • Making rockets reusable and working to make humanity multiplanetary through SpaceX? • Connecting remote communities and restoring communications during disasters through Starlink? • Building maximum truth-seeking AI through xAI? • Restoring free speech on 𝕏? Elon Musk is dedicating his companies to advancing humanity and building a better future for civilization. Who is funding these paid protests against Elon and what are they so afraid of?

Thank you for your attention to this matter Elizabeth! I love that you’re letting us know that Elon Musk has become the world’s first trillionaire. If you keep up Elizabeth he will soon become the first to 2 trillion and onwards. Along the way, watch him empower millions of Americans by creating meaningful jobs that give them a real shot at financial security just like the teams at SpaceX, Tesla, and every other Elon company are experiencing today. So yes, keep tracking. We’re entering a new era of prosperity and quality of life for Americans. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
