On a positive note, these idiots atleast acknowledge that Yoga is an integral part of Hinduism.
Three old women doing pranayama in a Gurudwara langar hall have irked a bunch of holier-than-thou "Sikh" hypocrites, aka Pakhandis. Doing Gatka is great and it already being done but may we ask these lot, if these old women can even do G of Gatka?
Anyway, according to them, doing yoga in a Gurudwara or on its premises is seriously anti-Sikh, but doing Namaz is not. Even the SGPC has issued a statement condemning three old women doing pranayama in a Gurudwara miles away, over which they do not even have control.
I don't remember the last time the SGPC issued a statement on Namaz in Gurudwaras; hell, they even failed to issue any statement on the Muslim guy who did Wazu in Harmandir Sahib, and that too with the swiftness they have shown regarding this video.
Nowhere in any Sikh text, or even in the SGPC's own Rehat Maryada document, is there any mention of yoga. Even before that, there was no such thing as a Rehat Maryada mentioned by any Sikh Guru.
This shows a serious character flaw in Sikh institutions and the self-imposed Sikh leadership. Double standards, even on their own declarations, are not even funny anymore. The past bears witness to the SGPC's continuous efforts to create a soft corner for Islam and Islamic practices, to the point of even accepting them, while, on the contrary, taking an equally hostile stance toward any "Hindu"-related activities or teachings.
